Dear Morris,
What a month! This month you started smiling big with your gums, giggling hard with little high pitch screams, and talking mom and dad's ear off with lots of new, adorable sounds. You're reaching for and grabbing objects, listening to and looking at books, and even rolling over from your tummy to your back. With a little help, you love to sit up and stand and you love to ride around on papa's shoulders. Somehow along the way you've figured out selfies, grinning from ear to ear when you see us in the screen. This month you also dipped your toes in the sea and sand for the first time and your clothes were suddenly constantly drenched in drool! Here comes teething! Even though you've gotten the "go ahead" to start trying solid foods, you're in no rush. You love your milk.
While you've started to like falling asleep in your bed now instead of my arms , you are still so cuddly. You pull me in close to make sure our foreheads are touching so you can rub my face and sing along to my (horrible) bedtime tunes. Between falling asleep to this and waking up to your cheeky grins and sweet voice, love is hardly enough to describe it.
Love,
Mama
